Daily Writing Prompt Archive

I added an archive page to my Daily Writing Prompts page so that it will be easier for me to see what prompts I have used already. I am thinking I should go back in and switch it from being sorted by the month and day into an alphabetized sorting for the writing prompts, since that would make it easier for me to keep an eye on what I have suggested already. I don’t think the main point is to offer 100% unique prompts every day, instead it is simply to get you all thinking about writing something for your novel so even if I accidentally reuse one, it might at least still serve its purpose. Right?

You Could Win A Hamilton Beach Stand Mixer

Enter to win at MyWoodenSpoonDOTcomOkay, I may not have got a lot of work done today, but I have been busy writing to help spread the word on a great contest for a great food blog (and not *only* because I really, really need a new mixer).

A Cowboy’s Wife is having a contest on her food blog! You can win a Hamilton Beach® Stand Mixer and she’ll ship anywhere so everyone is eligible!

Go check out the blog, she has some wonderful recipes on it, and be sure that you check out the contest. It is easy to enter and is an amazing prize for the blog’s first contest.

Trying to decide

I am trying to decide if I should shift the look of The Daily Writing Prompt to match the look of The Writing Office or leave it as the old book style that I have it as now. I’m not sure which is better for the vision I have got for the Daily Writing Prompt. I would love to be able to utilize more sidebar space, like I have with this theme. It would be nice to include pictures and maybe have a place where people can share their use of the prompts I have given.

I’m still here… somewhere

I’ve been moving slow because of an injured shoulder, but I am working on a few posts for this blog in the coming days and on something that I want to get started on the site for writers that are looking for the perfect name for characters.  I’m also working on a few other things, but we’ll see how they go with the way life’s been going before I say too much about them.
